Good Morning to you,

  1. I think tags like this are fun (even though Twisty is a no tag blog). We learn so much more about our *friends*! I like Mr. Tambourine Man, too. Loved your answer to Bucket List! Surprises are fun!

    1. Good Morning to you, When I was a teenager in Cyprus, the Byrds were a really "cool" group and I loved Mr Tambourine Man and still do. I loved the Bucket List film, but I don't want to make lists of things I want to do, as what ever happens, I want it to unfurl naturally. Glad you enjoyed getting to know me a little better. Have a lovely day, Best Wishes, Daphne

    1. Kalimara Dimi, We are "sisters" at heart. The photo of the King Charles Spaniel was our little dog who was part of our lives for 14 years. Her name was Chloe and she was adoreable. I'm so pleased you enjoyed learning a little more about me. I hear it is raining in Athens at the moment, today we have sunshine, but very cold. Still I would rather the weather was cold and have sunshine than our usual grey winter days. Have a lovely day, Best Wishes Daphne

    1. Good Morning Debbie, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos of my favourite things. I thought it would be fun to include them. I had meant to take a photo of my breakfast, but my porridge was eaten before I remembered to take a photo.....isn't that always the way, you think I would know by now. Enjoy your day, Best Wishes Daphne

  5. Good Morning Daphne!
What fun to learn more about you!!

I too am a sweet person... although, I wish I my tastes ran along the more savory line.

Thank you for the invitation to join, however, I respectfully decline. I have maintained an award free/ tag free blog, and it works for me.
Thank you, still the same; I am honored.

Hope that this has been a wonderful week for you, thus far.

    Warm wishes....
    K.

    1. Good Morning Kerin, I am a sweet person and my husband is a savoury person. I will always pass up something savoury to enjoy something sweet and George does the reverse. I have to say this doesn't help, as I am on a diet and trying to cut back on sweet things, but I find if I make sure I eat enough during the day, I don't get an attack of what we call "the nibblies" during the evening.

I am so sorry, I should have taken more notice and seen that your blog was award free/tag free. I shall remember to check more thoroughly in future.

Take care and have a lovely day. Best Wishes Daphne

    1. Good Morning Fiona, Dimi mentioned that she like the same things as I do, and so do you, we will have to form a "Blogger Sisterhood" of likeminded people! Lucky you, your legs are three inches longer than mine! Don't laugh, but as you know, I have two daughters and my waist reaches the top of their legs....they both have lovely l-o-n-g legs. I'm so pleased you enjoyed getting to know a little more about me. By the way, I bought my book in India, so let me know if you have problems getting it on google. It is a good read and makes you realise how lucky we are in our part of the world. Have a lovely day. Best Wishes Daphne

    1. Hello Sweetheart, What a lovely surprise. Chloe was lovely wasn't she. I had to include Chloe as she was such a large part of our lives. Did you find out anything about me that you didn't already know....I shouldn't imagine so, as you know me so well. Hope the typhoons have gone and that all is peace and quiet in your garden. Lots of love, Mum xxx

  9. Good Morning Gina, It was fun thinking about the questions and also thinking of questions for me to ask. I'm looking forward to hearing the answer to the question, "If you could have dinner with anyone, past or present, who would it be" I think there will be some fabulous answers. I'm so glad you enjoyed learning a little more about me. Have a lovely day today, Best Wishes Daphne

  10. Daphne! Thanks for the info of England's weather. see, I didn't realize or know it was the rain-est in 100 years! That is nice to know.

Did I ever tell you that I love the name Daphne? When I was in 6th grade, I had a male teacher that was so much fun and his wife's name was Daphne and I loved it! I haven't known a lot of Daphnes but I love the name.

    1. Good Morning Renae, Oh, thank you so much, I didn't realise you loved the name Daphne. Actually, the name Daphne is of Greek origin and means laurel tree. I was named Daphne after a nurse who cared for my Gramps during the war. He always felt she saved his life and so asked my mum and dad if their first child was a girl could she be named Daphne. Lovely story isn't it. Have a lovely day. Best Wishes Daphne

    1. Good Morning Carla, Thank you so much for visiting me today. If I am honest, I didn't know what tagging was until it happened to me, as I am a relatively new blogger, but I thought it was fun. We read a blog and get a sense of what the person is like, but tagging, gives you more of a chance to get to know people.
Thank you so much for becoming a follower. Have a lovely day, Best Wishes Daphne
